The salon owner, Stephenie Loren was named after her father, Stephen (Steve Hauk). As a child of the 80's, she grew up to her mom, Jan, blaring & singing along to Stevie Nicks hits. She can remember thinking that "Stevie" was such a cool name for a girl. She thought to herself, "Why couldn't my parents have named me that? What a great hairdresser name!"

She decided that if she ever opened her own salon, she would call it "Stevi Loren Salon." After all, that should  have been her name!
(She even bought the domain name, stevilorensalon.com, just in case!)

In 2008, after working in different salons over a five-year period and never truly feeling satisfied, she randomly came across a listing for a space on Craigslist.com. She checked it out, decided it would make a great salon, slept on the idea for a few days, signed the lease and 7 weeks later, Stevi Loren Salon wasn't just a domain name. It was actually a real business!

When she opened the salon, it was important for her to portray a sense of style and chic fashion, but to also create a space where everyone could feel comfortable and at home.

The mission was simple. Create an eclectic salon as cozy as a coffee shop.

Stevi is very passionate about hair. It was important to her that any stylist who wanted to work at the salon share her passion. Stevi takes pride in knowing that all the hair stylists at Stevi Loren Salon have a strong passion and skill for the work they do.

They love the industry and strive to keep up with the latest styles and techniques by attending hair shows & classes to further their education.
